Pakistan Ice Hockey
Who We Are
OUR MISSION
OUR MISSION
Team Pakistan Ice Hockey exists to grow the game of hockey within Pakistan and among the global Pakistani diaspora. Our mission is to create opportunities for athletes to represent their heritage proudly, compete at the international level, and inspire the next generation to dream bigger.
We strive to build a program rooted in unity, respect, and resilience — proving that with passion and perseverance, there are no boundaries to where Pakistani athletes can go, both on and off the ice.
Our Story
Pakistan Ice Hockey was founded on a dream — to bring Pakistan onto the global ice hockey stage and show the world that talent knows no borders. What began as a small group of passionate players scattered across the diaspora has grown into a movement uniting athletes from around the world under one flag and one purpose.
In 2025, that dream became reality. The men's national team made history at the Amerigol LATAM Cup, capturing gold in Division III with a decisive 6–1 victory over Peru, just six days after Pakistan's Independence Day. Their victory wasn't just a win on the scoreboard; it was a symbol of perseverance, brotherhood, and national pride. That same tournament, Pakistan's first-ever women's national team made their debut, earning bronze in Division II — a team made up of players meeting for the first time, including sisters, twins, and friends, who came together with extraordinary chemistry and heart.
In 2026, the program took its next step. The men's team rose to Division II and went undefeated through the entire tournament, falling only in a tight 2–1 final against Italy Heritage to claim silver. The women's team returned to the same stage and claimed bronze for the second consecutive year, proving that 2025 was no fluke. Alongside them, Pakistan debuted two new rosters: a U16 team that made a strong debut run, reaching the semifinals, and a Legacy 35+ squad competing in their very first tournament, representing the generation of players who kept this sport alive in the diaspora long before there was a national team to play for.
What started as one team is now a program. These players — across every age group, every division — represent the growing community of Pakistanis rewriting the story of who belongs in hockey. The future of this game is diverse, global, and proudly green and white.
